A Sweet Escape for the Aching Heart || Yoohwan & Hyeji

Hyeji was leading the way in the streets of Seoul, not knowing where to go and not caring what would happen to them after this escape. “I really don’t know what would I do without you…” She thoughtfully retrospected her infestive moments with Yoohwan. They were growing up already. Something was telling her that they can’t go on fleeing forever from those unwanted situations. Sooner or later, Yoohwan would have to face his issues and Hyeji, she has to face her dilemmas.

But this is now. If they can’t go on running away like this forever then why can’t she just cherish the present? “You’re one lucky man to have me indeed,” she said responding with a sincere smile. ”Aigoo! You still really need my expertise in escaping, ne? Don’t worry. I’ll be with you for as long as you need me. Do you remember that playground in Daehangno? I still go there sometimes you know…”

“I guess I’ll always need you, but don’t take that as a complaint.” He shrugged and grinned at Hyeji. “And of course I remember it, and I wish I could go there, but…. I forgot the way to there long time ago.” He sighed. The only thing he really hated about himself, was that he could get lost so easily, even with a map or a GPS.

While they walked on the street quietly, Yoohwan watched the girl in front of him. Sometimes he wished if he could fall for her, probably everything would be much more easier… “Why do I have to live such a complicated life…” he asked himself, not as if he expected any answer. He sighed and looked up at the sky above them. “The stars are pretty, aren’t they?” he smiled at Hyeji.
